I don’t have a link to the diagram, but I think you’ll be able to answer the question without it.

The question asks what is one point on the map to the other point on the map. The question asks “how far is it from the point labelled you are here to the jet ski?”The scale is 1 : 25 000. It’s a multiple choice question and the answer is 500m.

How do you get 500m from the information provided?

    1 is to 25000 as
    x is to 500

    x/500m = 1/25000m
    x/1m= 500/25000m
    x=500m/25000m
    x=5m/250m
    x=1/50m

    should be 1/50th of (scale: inches, cm, whatever) = 500m Steven
