Are there places to ski near Colorado School of Mines?

I plan to go to colorado school of mines but I’m wondering if there are places nearby to ski since it’s in colorado. It’s right outside of Denver so how far away from skiing is it? Is it less than an hour?

    Echo mountain and Eldora are close. But the best options are Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Vail, Beaver Creek, Loveland, Winter Park and Copper Mountain. Denver isn’t the ski capital of the USA for nothing. Richardo El Jefe
