I get to choose our vacation in 2012, and I would like to go on to a ski resort. We are planning on going in February 2012. Can anyone recommend a ski resort that would suit four people (two parents 12 year old girl, & 11 year old girl)? We would probably stay for 6 days 5 nights. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

Can you hike or cross country ski near Denver in early November?

Should I be concerned that trails in hiking areas like Rocky Mtn NP will be mostly inaccessible because of ice/snow but the nordic skiing areas will not have enough snow? Why are there no ski areas out Hwy 285 in Colorado?

My husband and I want to try something different. We went to Vegas in June and had a good time, but I want to find something more romantic to do. Neither of us has ever been skiing before, but we really want to try something out of the norm. I am thinking of a romantic five night trip sitting in front of the fire sipping on cocoa and eating marshmallows. We would rent a car so we could take a tour of the city.

We have access to vail, beaver creek, arapaho basin, keystone and have already skied breckenridge. My family will stay mostly on the blue trails with a few green trails and the rare blacks.
