Is it alright to wear contact lenses while tubing/jet skiing?

I just got contacts a few weeks ago and I’m planning on jet skiing and such tomorrow. Is it possible that my contacts could fly out of my eyes or get to dry? What if I wore sunglasses too? I would just really prefer to be able to see. Thanks.
