How do you decide whether you should ski or snowboard?

I am going to the ski hills on Thursday and I can’t decide whether I want to ski or snowboard. It’s going to be the same amount of money whether I rent ski equipment or snowboard equipment. I can also receive free lessons in snowboarding or skiing. So which one do I choose and why??

they are both decently easy to learn so if you dont like you choice you can switch the next time.

well generally people who ski tend to like men lol jk but snowboard its easier to pick up and its fun plus every one hates skiers because they get in your way ejijah
snowboard i think is a lot more fun but most lifts arent made for snowboarding but i think that snowboarding is more fun Tara
snowboarding is alot more fun than skiing…but skiing is easier at first but its harder to master
though snowboarding from the beginning is going to be pretty hard but once you get it you’ll master it faster than skiing…

For me it was easy. My friends were all snowboarders satcomgrunt
I do both and am, thankfully, decently skilled at both. I found that skiing was a lot easier to learn and pick-up on, but I still think snowboarding is easy. Personally, I say snowboard; if you ski first, then switch over, you may have a harder time because you have to get used to having both feet attatched to one board as opposed to two– that’s the situation my friend had. I think both are just as fun, but go for snowboarding…

I personally love snowboarding over skiing. If you are a beginner you might want to ski because its easier to learn. Skiing is more like rollerblading and standing up. Snowboarding is like skateboarding. Your balance is thrown off right away snowboarding because we humans are used to walking forward. Straight. Not sideways. So I will tell you that snowboarding is more fun but skiing is easier for the beginners. So try skiing this time and if its to easy then try snowboarding the next time you go. Krabbhead
skiing is easier if you’re a beginner, but snowboarding it way more fun in the long run. I’ve been snowboarding for 3 years and it’s the best. so if you’re looking to stay committed, try snowboarding. if its just a one day thing i recommend skiing. -EmmaMae EmmaMae! (:
