I’m going skiing in Coronet Peak later this year for the ski season and I’m trying to budget. Can anybody tell me how much it costs for a ski pass?

apparently it’s 95NZD for an adult. Honestly, Coronet is not a very good ski area. It’s basically all man made and in a pretty terrible place where there’s not a large amount of natural snowfall — it’s just kind of up on a hill outside of town. It’s more of a touristy/amenities type place with a huge lodge, fancy lifts and gift shops.

Cardrona has much better terrain, much more snow, and is just a happier, less crowded and less rushed place in general imo. Their tickets are 89NZD for an adult Crikey a Wild Ski Bum
