If I decided to rent out my jet ski to some people for a hourly rate would I have to get liability insurance?

    I don’t think you technically have to. But you really, really should. If some one gets hurt on your jetski and you’re uninsured… potentially that’s you losing everything you own. T’yr

    Yes!
    It is your property and you are responsible any damage it incurs.
    You could charge a higher rate for renting to cover the cost of the insurance. Cubby

    Liability insurance is a must! Waiver of Liability also. No one under the age of 18 to ride or drive. Also owner is not responsible for damage or misuse of the jet-ski. Owner not responsible for injuries or death due to use or misuse of jet-ski. Owner not responsible for civil or small claims suits brought upon rider of jet-ski. Better make sure you cover all your liability issues BEFORE you consider renting your jet-ski. Lori S
