Ski hotels in Santiago are way too expensive, are there any Farellones hostels or inns?

I am taking my family for a ski trip in South America, we already book in Bariloche
but I am having second doubts about going to the ski center in Santiago. I took Valle Nevado, La Parva out from the list, they were too expensive, I am between El Colorado and Farellones,
but I heard that Farellones has hostels, when Colorado definitely don’t. It would be a one week stay with two teenagers.

As I know, there are three hostels in Farellones, but are focused in young people and college kids, there are no families and definitely is not adequate for teenagers.
The average rate per person is USD$30 in a hostel, but considering the fact that they are not quite family friendly, I would strongly recommend you to search for ski travel packages to lower your costs, maybe you can get a better deal with the local travel agencies that have already bought travel packages and have to sell their stock (that is how i traveled to BS AS this year).
I know these guys (I put the link below) offer a free transfer from the airport, if you book a certain amount of days or certain tours. A transfer from the airport costs USD$25-30 dollars per person. Arun kumar
