what colleges in New England are close to ski areas?
I’m trying to find a college close to a ski area. I know St. Michaels college is about 45 min from Smugglers Notch and with your tuition you get a free seasons pass! If you know of any other colleges near ski areas please tell me!! Also if you go or went to st Michaels did you like it, what didnt you like about it?

Most of the New England colleges are nearish to ski areas – mostly those in Massachusetts and points north. But even in CT, the schools are near ski areas. Depends on how big you want the skiing to be, and how close you want to be to the resort.
Most New England schools have ski clubs. UMass Amherst even used to own a cabin, I think it was at Killington, and might still.
If you want colleges that are within, say, 30-60 minutes of a ski area, then I’d suggest:
-University of Vermont
-Middlebury
-UMass Amherst
-Smith College
-Hampshire College
-Amherst College
-Williams
-Burlington College
-Bennington
-Dartmouth
-Colby
-University of Maine, Augusta
And I’m sure there are others. Focus on those located in western Massachusetts, and in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, for the easiest access to skiing. But hey, even Boston University has a ski club.
A lot of these schools get discounted passes to the local resorts. RoaringMice
