What is the best way to post/ship ski gear from Canada back to Australia?

My other half is about to finish working the ski season at Big White and wants to send his skis and other gear back home before heading off to Europe. It’s a ski bag about 1.9m long and about 28kgs. How do other people send their gear home at the end of the season?
