My husband and I are going to Denver for 3 days at the begining of March. We are planning on skiing a bit and also visiting some hot springs. Other than that, what else is there to see and do that would be fun?

There is no skiing in Denver. Closest skiing is an hour west.

What’s fun, depends on where your actually going to be. Odds are after a day on slopes at 10K feet altitude add fresh air one or two adult beverages at the end of the day – and you will be wanting to go to sleep. Fester Frump

We have a great Art Museum. Nature and science museum. 16th St. pedestrian mall, but with a day of skiing and hot springs, you’ll be beat. f you’re going to be here on a weekend Plan a 2-3 hours drive from the slopes to Denver Especially on Sunday because of all the weekend skiers going home. Traffic nightmare. especially if it snows xjoizey

In Denver you can go the the Museum of Nature and Science. There are always good plays, concerts, and sporting activities going on somewhere in the city. There are several wonderful golf courses. The aquarium is quite nice. You can tour a candy factory. The mint has tours and they are free. If you are going far enough to go skiing you can go to Rocky Mountain National Park or you could drive down to Colorado Springs and go to the top of Pikes Peak. Denver University has a wonderful gymnastics team which is usually ranked nationally. There is a lot of shopping, and you can tour the Coors plant in Golden. The zoo is fantastic! Nelson_DeVon

We’ve got a great Theatre District. March 4- April 4 Mary Poppins will be here! Tickets starting at only $25.

Ever seen where they make you money? Go to the Denver mint take a tour, and you can see for yourself! Hallie

I agree with Nelson – everything he suggested was great. One other suggestion is to go to Estes Park to the Stanley hotel which was the inspiration for the book the Shining by Stephen King. Beautiful scenery. Kayleigh
