    i don’t think there was one particular mountain that allowed snowboarding first but if there is i would look in the Burlington, Vermont area, were Burton was founded (along with Sims). tony tanti

    Hmm that’s a good question, I haven’t a clue, You could also add to your paper the resorts that still don’t allow snowboarding, Pretty sure there are still 3 of them left in the states. Deer Valley,Alta and Mad River Glen. Jake M

    Suicide Six was the first to allow snowboarding in 1982 I believe, they are based in Vermont, No link for you, but If you search around im sure you can find something.

    Mad River Glen, Deer Valley and Alta Still don’t allow snowboarding. Taos was apart of the list until March 2008 when they finally opened their doors to snowboarders. robotchrisduh
