    Ski season usually starts around Thanksgiving, maybe a little earlier maybe a little later. Killington in VT has opened in October so its anybody’s guess but they usually open the earliest of any New England ski area. As far as NH, my guess would be that Loon would open earliest. Live to Ski

    Bretton Woods is usually the first to get open, as soon as snowmaking permits, which is generally early to mid-November. Most of the bigger resorts (Loon, Cannon, Attitash, Waterville Valley, Mount Sunapee, Wildcat) are open by the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and the smaller resorts open early-mid December.
